53th Biennale Venice / Australian Pavilion / Shaun Gladwell
As seen last week on the 53th internation art-biennale in venice, Shaun Gladwell gave me a great moment of stunning. His works at the austrailian pavillon at the biennale giardini, called maddest max, are working with the film-based impression of the australian outback, as we know from the 80’s movies ‘Mad Max’. But in very puristic and poetic way. The pictures are the official production stills by Josh Raymond taken from Gladwell’s Interceptor Surf Sequence and the Planets and Stars Sequence: Barrier highway.
