Die Fotoserie “A Golden Youth” befasst sich mit den Paradoxien und Sehnsüchten der Jugend. Das Streben nach Selbstverwirklichung, Identitätssuche, Eskapismus und Genusssucht kennzeichnen die Adoleszenz. Der Begriff „La Jeunesse Dorée“ bezieht sich auf den sorglosen, hedonistisch motivierten Lebenswandel, der mit Jugendlichkeit in Verbindung gebracht wird. „A Golden Youth“ entwickelt ein Spannungsbild über die Erwartungen, Vorstellungen und Möglichkeiten der Jugend.
Jan-Kristof Lipp ist Designer und freier Art-Director. Georg Roske ist Fotograf. Beide leben und arbeiten in Berlin.

Miwa Yanagi and her Windswept Women



Miwa Yanagi represented Japan at the 53rd venice art biennale. With her installation entitled ‘Windswept Women: the old Girls’ troupe’. The Japanese pavilion was curated by Hiroshi Minamishima.
The Rotating Kitchen
The Rotating Kitchen by Zeger Reyers was put into motion during the opening of the exhibition Eating the Universe at the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, Germany, last Friday. It will keep rotating slowly till February 28th 2010.
